WordLyte Privacy Policy
WordLyte is a browser extension created by Zohsik. Your privacy is important to us. WordLyte is designed to run entirely on your device and does not collect analytics, track users, or transmit your data to external servers.
Overview
WordLyte highlights words and phrases on web pages based on rules you configure. All processing occurs locally in your browser. Zohsik does not receive, store, or analyze your browsing data.
Information WordLyte Processes
- Text content on pages you visit, processed locally to apply highlighting rules
- Extension settings and preferences
- Saved word and phrase lists
- Optional clipboard history items (if enabled)
All data remains on your device.
Local Storage
WordLyte uses your browser’s extension storage to save settings and lists. This data is never transmitted outside your browser.
Clipboard History
If you enable clipboard history features, copied text is stored locally to allow quick pasting using keyboard shortcuts. Clipboard data is not shared or uploaded.
Downloads & Export
WordLyte may create a file on your device when you explicitly choose to export or back up your data. Downloads only occur through direct user action.

You can remove all WordLyte data at any time by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.
Children’s Privacy
WordLyte is not intended for children under 13. The extension does not collect, transmit, or store personal information from users of any age.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the effective date will be updated on this page.
